Ultrasound Scans

An ultrasound scan is a way of producing an internal image of various body parts and is commonly used to identify symptoms involving your abdomen, gynaecological and joints/musculoskeletal areas. The examination will be conducted by a highly skilled and trained sonographer under the supervision of Consultant Radiologist.

The results of your scan will be promptly reported on the same day and then sent to you by email. In rare instances, a scan may necessitate a second opinion from one of our senior Sonographers or Consultant Radiologists, which may cause a delay. In most cases, our Sonographer will also provide you with a provisional verbal report during your scan.

One scan area, such as your abdomen, costs £99, 2 areas costs £149 and 3 areas costs £189.

Ultrasound scans are carried out by CDS. NJH is providing you a booking process with CDS only.

 

To book a private ultrasound scan please complete the booking form and pay a 10% deposit. Following this a CDS consultant will contact you to make the final payment and provide you with any pre scan medical information such as refrain from eating or ensure you have a full bladder prior to the scan.
